/ Content
• Theoretical input on the overhead line technical reference framework and presentation of the various phases of an overhead line project through a school project:
• Mechanical and geometric dimensioning assumptions,
• Technical choices,
• Outsourcing of technical studies,
• Construction phases and operating procedures,
• Maintenance policies.
/ Objective
- • Explain the different maintenance policies affecting overhead structures,
• To relate asset description tools to their function,
• Explain how component resistance is defined in accordance with CENELEC standard EN-50 341-1,
• Apply the right level of reliability when choosing assumptions,
• Determine the input data needed to calculate the correct wind load case,
• Determine the input data needed to calculate the correct ice load case,
• Decide whether or not an APO is required for a project,
• Justify the choices made in terms of mechanical and geometric sizing for the modification of an existing overhead line in accordance with RTE's prescriptive documents,
• Describe the main overhead line work situations,
• Link the stages of a project with the stages of a PLS study.
