- Domain
- Engineering Overhead line
- Duration of training
- 24 hour(s)
- Reference
- INGELA21
/ Informations
- Intern Profil
Project managers, project assistants, design engineers.
- Required
Basic knowledge of geotechnical engineering.
- Needed stuff
A PC and something to write with.
/ Content
- • Optimising calculations for overhead line foundations and reinforcements using pre-dimensioning tools and assessing how a foundation system functions in its environment:
• Optimising soil studies,
• Use of CORNICA,
• Use of CORNIPIEUX,
• Concrete diagnostics,
• Intrinsic strength,
• Use of CORNIPODE,
• Embankments,
• Temporary foundations,
• Use of CORNIMUR.
/ Objective
- • Check the relevance and compliance of geotechnical tests as part of a pre-sizing study for overhead line foundations,
• Check the stability of a shallow foundation and predict its reinforcement using the CORNICA tool,
• Check the stability of a monopod foundation and predict its reinforcement using the CORNIPOD tool,
• Check the stability of a pile foundation and pre-dimension its reinforcement using the CORNIPIEUX tool,
• Check the stability of a low wall foundation and predict its reinforcement using the CORNIMUR tool,
• Characterise the intrinsic strength of a shallow or deep foundation,
• Present the content of a diagnosis and list the possible actions based on the results of this foundation concrete diagnosis,
• Demonstrate the impact of environmental or geological features on the geotechnical strength of overhead line foundations,
• List the risks associated with temporary anchors in the ground.
