/ Informations
- Intern Profil
Design engineers.
- Required
More than one year's experience in overhead line engineering,
Have already checked or carried out studies using the PLS-CADD tool.
- Needed stuff
A PC with the PLS-CADD and CELESTE V4 tools installed and something to write with.
/ Content
- • Rope mechanics,
• CELESTE exercises: rope adjustment on pulleys and adjustment using grippers,
• Choosing a rope system: Focus on NARCISSE ropes,
• Choice of setting parameter,
• Determining the consistency of the work,
• EMC and noise,
• Focus on type H supports and the works criteria file,
• Construction phases: Focus on the Cradle-Blocks system.
/ Objective
- • Explain the mechanical behaviour of a cable in an overhead link section,
• Carry out specific mechanical strength calculations during the works phase using the PLS CADD tool,
• Check that the necessary conditions have been met to ensure safe lifting of structures,
• Draw up a procedure for replacing conductors,
• Analyse a calculation note for installing overhang protection using Cradle Blocks,
• Carry out a procedure for installing cables on an overhead line structure that meets the requirements of the technical and functional specifications,
• Anticipate site risks and gauge the impact on project costs,
• Improve a projected situation with regard to noise emissions induced by an overhead line structure,
• Determine the critical spans of an overhead line with regard to EMC using the PLS calculation tool.
