Intern Profil

Employees in charge of measurements and studies in the Control and Command domain, maintenance operators in the Control and Command domain.

Required

Basic knowledge of electrical engineering.

Needed stuff

PPE, PC and something to write with.

/ Content

Theory:
• The 225 and HV 1983 protection plans and the 400kV plan,
• The LV functions of line units, couplers and transformers,
• Communication links between equipment on substations,
• Functional links between equipment in these units,
• Inter-unit circuits in substations,
• Functional links from the substations to the busbar protections.

Practical exercises :
• Electrical safety,
• System safety (isolation of equipment, of a unit, specific LV features),
• Preparing the procedure for carrying out the operation,
• Understanding the functions of the units,
• Analysis of functional interactions (links between equipment and units, initialisation of PLCs, differential protection, remote reactions, differential busbar protection, disconnection, substation PLCs, inter-unit, etc.),
• Drawing up a test methodology,
• The test conditions,
• The role and responsibilities of the Works, Test or Intervention Manager will also be detailed.

/ Objective

• Identify the role and responsibilities of an ASI Works, Test or Intervention Manager,
• Apply a methodology to explain the functions of CC units,
• Prepare, carry out, evaluate and report on an LV operation.
