- • Read and understand a tower plan,
• Know the basic rules for assembling a lattice support,
• List the main constructive characteristics and provisions concerning maintenance activities on timber supports,
• List the main constructive characteristics and provisions concerning maintenance activities on guyed supports,
• Examine the different mechanical behaviours of a lattice structure,
• Understand a procedure as explained by the works supervisor,
• Describe the principles of the various techniques for lifting a support,
• Define and practise the different techniques for drilling, punching and cutting an angle iron, as well as the associated measurements,
• Distinguish and practise the different methods of safe removal,
• Describe the principles of the different techniques for unwinding a cable and working on cables,
• Take part in a 4-5 maintenance site as an operator.
/ Objective
- • Carry out, in complete safety, the replacement of part of a lattice support as part of 4-5 overhead line maintenance,
• Assemble a lattice support in complete safety,
• Carry out the drilling - punching - cutting of a lattice support element in complete safety,
• Lift part of a lattice support in complete safety,
• Replace an element with force compensation (member, strut, section, etc.),
• List the techniques for lifting a pylon,
• Securing a support (guy/anchor/secondary angle etc.),
• Lifting a wooden post,
• Remove a support,
• Assembling a support.
