Theory :
• Know the electrical and physical quantities related to IRT,
• Use documentation related to the theoretical approach,
• Be familiar with OMF maintenance policies relating to IRT,
• Putting thermography into context.
Practical exercises :
• Use the infrared camera in a transport station in service,
• Interpret the results,
• Draw up a report in line with the maintenance policy.
/ Objective

• Define the theoretical approach to measurement,
• Identify the general principles of infrared camera use,
• Define maintenance and prevention criteria (OMF),
• Inspect HV >50kV substation electrical installations using an infrared camera,
• Define the operator's role,
• Assess the measurement,
• Plan the IRT activity, taking into account the system's operating diagrams and complying with local conventions,
• Interpret the infrared image.
