/ Content

• The physical model used to represent the rise in ground potential around a pylon earthing point and the parameters that characterise it,
• The use of different regional tools to simulate the rise in ground potential around an electricity pylon,
• The use of Capeline to simulate the rise in potential of a pylon earthing system and its influence on the pylon environment,
• The phenomenon of magnetic induction,
• Carrying out a simplified study of the rise in potential of a substation's earthing system,
• Assessing the risks associated with electrical conduction in the ground.

/ Objective

• Apply the methods defined for carrying out simple electrotechnical studies to assess the risks of electrical proximity around our structures,
• Apply the tools and methods for carrying out an electrical proximity study by conduction around a pylon,
• Describe the phenomena of electrical proximity by magnetic induction around transmission network structures,
• Carry out a study of the potential rise of the earth network of an electrical substation.
